
Allison Davis O’Keefe is a photojournalist in New York City.
She is a graduate of the International Center of Photography's Documentary Photography and Photojournalism program.
Allison spent eight years with CBS News in New York and Washington, DC. She has covered the U.S. Congress, 2006 midterm elections, 2004 & 2008 presidential campaigns, and several breaking news events including the tragedy at Virginia Tech and the September 11th attacks, for which she won a group Emmy award.
Allison's photographs have appeared in Newsday, the Wall Street Journal, on the CBS Evening News and CBSNews.com. Her essay titled, Any Given Night, was featured in group exhibition in New York City in 2010.
Like many photographers, Allison's obsession with the camera began when her father gave her his old Canon FTb camera. Sharing the passion for the still image, Allison and her father travel together often.
Allison graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a B.A. in Environment, Economics, and Politics.
